Skarrsinger Karmelita
Thank you so much for your support of Desert Bus for Hope 2026!
Care Guide:
Contains sharp components and is not suitable for children or pets. While it allows for posing, it is not a toy and gentle handling is recommended.
To protect the longevity of the sculpture, please store with a lavender sachet (included in your box) or a cedar block to keep away wool-hungry pests.
Stray fibers may be trimmed. Surface can be cleaned with cold water. Remove excess water by gentle dabbing with a lint-free towel, and allow to air dry.
Crafted with animal products including sheep wool and beeswax, in an environment with pets.
Please feel free to email me@annalark.art with any questions or repair requests!
I’ve made a video showing how I handle posing, with an explanation of the included stands, so you can see an example.
Nitty Gritty Posing Things:
The skarr scout’s weapons are glued on and not removeable. If they accidentally detach or fall off, they can be glued back into place.
As Karmelita’s armature is fully wire, it can be bent at any point (i.e. in the middle of her shin!), so when posing her arms and legs, it’s best to grip it in such a way that only the joints will bend. This also means you can adjust the bend of her body, the curve of her limbs all you like!
Karmelita’s skirt has wire “boning” inside. If the end of a wire happens to poke out, you can safely tuck it back in. Bending these wires will allow for positioning her dress.
Lastly, here are 2 videos showing some of the process for Karmelita and her Scout on Instagram. Enjoy!
