Anna Lark, also known as the bean baguette, is an illustrator based on the US west coast. Her dream job is one that incorporates fantasy and animals (especially rats!) utilizing a colorful, whimsical style. She is passionate about language education, and working with animal rescues.
She has a linguistics degree with a minor in ESL education and is TESOL certified. For two years, Anna designed class curriculum and taught English to pre-school, elementary, and middle school students in Hokkaido, Japan, where she rediscovered her love of art through making classroom materials for her students.
Anna has been a freelance illustrator since 2016, her most recent published work is for the FEAST line of products by Cantrip Candles.
Since 2018, Anna has volunteered with Rattie Ratz, a non-profit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of domestic pet rats in Northern California, where she has designed promotional illustrations and utlized her social media platforms for fundraisers and events.
