THE FINE PRINT
- COMMISSIONS TERMS OF SERVICE -
My rates are subject to change, especially between commission rounds. Even if you are a repeat customer you are responsible for reading the info on my commission pages. My process, time commitments, and skill level are always changing, thank you for your understanding.
Invoices through Paypal only. You don’t need a Paypal account to pay invoices. Final assets will not be delivered until payment has been received. Deadlines must be arranged before payment.
No full refunds—once I’ve received payment, I will only refund for the value of work not yet completed.
Commissions may eventually be posted publicly, and in some cases streamed for an audience. I never show reference photos of people or mention real names. Let me know if you need something additional kept private.
I retain all ownership rights to images produced for commissions. This means I may post them publicly, alter them, or use them on my site and social media. Otherwise final assets are intended for personal use by the client and the client only.
I will not draw NSFW content, and reserve the right to refuse commissions based on subject matter or intent.
What you can and can’t do with commissions:
Commercial licensing needs to be arranged upfront. I don’t do this for character/pet portraits. This includes hosting the image online using a print-on-demand service.
You may post commissioned work to social media so long as you use the watermarked “sharable” version provided, with credit.
You may get tattoos of my work so long as it’s not commissioned work for someone else.
You may not commission me for a project then ask another artist to alter, “finish,” or otherwise use my design without my consent. If I find that you have done this, I won’t work for you again.
Commissioned work cannot be reproduced (i.e. printed and given to multiple people by the commissioner) without permission.
When in doubt, ask me—these terms are to protect me from theft, not limit what you can get as a client :o)
